There isn’t a whole lot to do in Can Thô, so we didn’t feel too guilty about maxing out at The Azerie, an exotic resort on a private island, which takes luxury to a whole new level.
Happily the rain stopped on our arrival, and remained stunning for the next two days, leaving us to enjoy the beautiful pool, massages at the spa, and afternoon tea by the lotus flower covered lake.
Having said that, thé two « must-see » sights in Can Thô are the floating market – a wholesale fruit and veg market where traders bring produce from all along the Mekong Delta, up to 200km away, and the busy nightlife Downtown.
Our visit coincided with a full moon and Saturday night, and we left Can Tho’ with fond memories of Vietnamese nightlife and moonlight reflecting in the waters of the Mekong Delta.
