I am replacing the annual Norfolk post, to focus on our beautiful and beloved Kiran – family pet, faithful friend and magnificent Viszla. His sole aim in life being to please us, he was the first to greet us and this was, very sadly, his last summer holiday with us.

Kiran died of a brain tumour in March 2024, aged just 10. Looking back, he collapsed periodically and had weakened significantly, which the vet put down to arthritis. Whilst he remained content in himself until the end, he hadn’t been able to live his best life for some time.
Norfolk is our special annual family holiday. it had been a difficult year with Mummy having been unwell and having an operation earlier in the year.

We had all been looking forward to enjoying the spectacular beach at Holkham – my Happy Place, delicious food, natural beauty and birdlife, and above all spending time with family. From that POV, our 2023 trip did not disappoint and I look forward to our return in 2024.
